How started your adventure in the Darkpsy ?
Gradually hehe. when i first discovered psytrance and listened for example to something like U-Recken- that was very "dark" for me xDHow do you feel about participating in the Hawthorn Moon Festival?
Ah it was a super nice experience to go to mexico. very friendly people. explored the pyramids a bit and had a very nice underground tour (literally) of the sun and moon pyramid area.Ate a bunch of tacos and generally was not able to find non-super-spicy food at all. Was picked up from the airport mexican style driving through Mexico City in the back of a pickup truck with a group of people. super nice experience !!! Big gratitude to Jessica Lunsford and Manuel Xpike Riviero for bringing me and taking care of me so well..
With who artists have you collaborated in the course of your musical career?
For example, Audiosyntax, Cindervomit, Audionimus, Yoshua EM... CinderVOMIT was a very important collaboration for me because of how perfectly we were able to mold our sound together, which at that time was not so easy for me. Basically he helped pull me out of my isolated creative box.
What record labels do you belong to or represent at the time?
Anomalistic
(!!!!), honestly this label is truly a home for weirdos. David (CinderVOMIT)
and Vyvian (Luuli) jumpstarted a super powered weird music madhouse.
Other than that- my own label - Painted Chaos Project (co-founded with
Tzeentch) we have released so far a VA (Entropaint) and a first EP (Delp- Society)
forthcoming Audionimus will release an EP very soon here. Labyrinthine Crew
because they are awesome and i will soon try to get something for release there
as well. and Sacred Sound !!! Also still a part of me is for sure Zenon-breed
<3 teaming up with Tim Larner aka Sensient was one of the most important
milestones of my musical journey. I still play zenon music DJ sets from time to
time...
How many tracks do you have released so far?
Not enough! I need to make more =D And in honesty cannot count how many. For sure some number...
What can we expect in the future of Mirror Me?
I intend on continuing to make music, and always gonna try to surprise myself in this process. I also aim to promote new coming artists more, and also evolve and develop my workshop ideas. Next year will team up with the folks at Modular Moon (project started by Anna Martinova aka Tulpa Dusha which focuses on Modular Synthesis-oriented events, workshops, and many other things, in a physical space in Amsterdam)- there I will attempt to organize production workshops utilizing both Digital and Analog tools. Besides all of this will probably begin work on a new album since my head is exploding with ideas...
Why did you decide to call Mirror Me to your project?
"Mirror Me" is quite an empty concept. It doesn't really mean anything. But at the same time, could mean so many things, some which can be profound. For example- we can all be seen as mirror reflections of one another, as the One looking at itself <3 Or the cosmos as a mirror of myself (ourselves). Or, you know, just fractals xD. The name just came to me and felt perfect instantly. Didn't come from my mind which is a good thing. It is clean from injected meaning, this is the beautiful thing. Anyone can see something different in it- can be light, can be dark, can be esoteric, can be very down-to-earth or crazily esoteric or mystical at the same time. Anything really.
Talk about what your experience in psy how it was..?
My experience in psy hmmmm =D Well I first went to OZORA 2011 and instantly felt this is what i want to do. After this was hard work of creating tons of music, lots of sacrifices (quit school for example xD) but just naturally felt that I gotta do this, I didn't really put much thought into it, didn't even expect anything really. First gig was a complete surprise. And first international gigs totally blew my mind that someone out there actually wants to bring me to their country to play music... I am super grateful to the psy culture/scene for supporting me and my creativity. Of course I have had some "shady" or "dodgy" experiences... But I've also had amazing experiences as well. In general I can say I feel loved here <3

In which festivals have you participated?
Let's see. Some of the more known festivals I played were Freqs of Nature, Lost Theory, Modem, SUN, Masters of Puppets. Other than this played many underground gatherings with truly amazing vibes (Alfheimer, Origins of Entropy, Ayata,..)

oooooooo this is hard. hmmmmmmmm. Psykovsky Tanetsveta. Yaminahua Derelict. non-psy Whourkr- Concrete. All Ishq albums.... Hypogeo Tree of Lies....
What inspires you to make Dark Psy music?
Actually I don't really often feel i make "dark" psy. I do try to incorporate elements of touching Fear, building tension and suspense... but also elements of Love, Happiness, Transcendence. sometimes very harmonic and sometimes no harmony. Sometimes I like chaos, sometimes I like order. I think I want to just make "psychedelic" music, not necessarily "dark". Sometimes I just want to make super DARK DARK track. sometimes I want to create something melodic and beautiful. I don't want to close myself up in an idea or genre or anything. I want to surprise myself and create things I don't even fully understand...
Tell us some Festivals that you likes?
Right now MASTERS OF PUPPETS is the place to be. If you don't know where to go, go there. If you don't want to go there, you're maybe doing something wrong in life =D =D =D
Talk about your EP Concealed Revealed?
Hmm it's curious why specifically this one. I guess it was my first EP with faster music after making progressive for Zenon. It was interesting for me to try this and was very happy to see it on Ektoplazm. Right now I don't really play any of those tracks as they feel super old and dated, but I can only hope they were super nice back in the day for people... I feel i should place attention on my latest album release- Nought Nautica. This is for me the biggest release of my life so far so go ahead and check that out if you want, instead of this retro stuff xDDD
Any advice you want to give to amateurs producers?
My advice to new producers- surprise yourself! If you're not feeling surprised then you're probably recreating someone else's ideas and not introducing anything new. For sure first part of production is guided by direct inspiration, but at some point you must let this all go and create your own sound, for this you need courage. So i advise you to be brave and not rest on tried and tested ideas already popular in psy music. Make something NEW !!!!
How have you felt after participating in a chapter of Psybabas?
PSYBABAS was a huge joy for me. I was very honored to participate in this and am grateful to irgum burgum for having me there. Right now I feel the music I presented there is not very satisfactory for me and today doesn't really hold up to my own expectations... i hope to be back there someday with some better tunes ;)
How is an Antoni's day?
